Supervised U.S. Department of Agriculture experiment stations in Panhandle of Texas and bred varieties of grain seed. Received M.S. from Texas A&M while serving as assistant director of Texas Agricultural Experiment Station there. Served as first dean of agriculture at Texas Tech University in 1925 to ...
